Media Subgroup: Choose two of the following four assignments

      Assignment 1: Create a biographical sketch of a hero who is acceptable to both countries.

      Assignment 2: Conduct an interview with a mediator (what questions would you ask). Write

                                                            a journalistic article, based on the interview, to go on the front page of your newspaper.

                                                            Create a podcast of the interview for the wiki.

   Assignment 3: Create a cartoon for kids with a superhuman character that saves the two countries from

                                                         destroying each other. Post this cartoon in the classroom and on the wiki.

    Assignment 4. Interview two people from each of the other two subgroups. Devise questions that try to

                                                         increase the public’s understanding of how the feelings towards each other are changing

                                                         (if they are). What obstacles do they need to overcome to work together. Write a short

                                                         article based on the interviews; record interviews for a podcast to appear on the wiki along

                                                         with your articles.
